The Schlader Recreation Center is the hub of activities for the Village, with over 20,000 square feet of indoor space available for year-round activities. Located at Village Park on 9th Street, the Schlader Recreation Center includes ample parking for events of all types.
The Winthrop Harbor Parks and Recreation Department also hosts various events throughout the Holidays and fun activities throughout the year and strives to meet a wide range of ages, interests, and activity levels.
If you are planning a large event and in need of a place to rent, look no further! The Schlader Building is a great place to host a large event such as a wedding, Anniversary party or even a Quinceanera. The Large (multipurpose) Room & Gym accommodates 300 people with table (6ft tables) and chair set-up and includes the kitchen. See below for more information about renting.
